The short version
- Two capsules make one serving, with 24 lines on the panel. Several are far above 100% DV, including vitamin B12 at 600 mcg (25,000%) and thiamin at 50 mg (4,167%). The panel lists no iron.
- $36.00 for 60 capsules on Sep 30, 2026 is $1.20 per two-capsule serving ($36.00 ÷ 30 servings).
- The format trade-off: no sugar or sweetener at all, but two capsules to swallow each day, and the mineral amounts are modest next to a single tablet multi.

The listing's directions: take 2 capsules daily, or as recommended by your health-care practitioner. Thorne's listing adds that it often suggests taking multis with food to reduce stomach upset. The strip shows that serving; it is not our advice.
What the label shows
We read the Supplement Facts image on the Amazon listing for ASIN B00FOTMGTU (60 capsules) on September 30, 2026, and checked it against the ingredient text on the same listing. Serving size is two capsules, with 30 servings per container. The panel has no calories, carbohydrate or sugar lines, because there is nothing sweet in it.

Other ingredients, as printed: hypromellose (derived from cellulose) capsule, dicalcium phosphate and calcium laurate. The chelated minerals are sold under the TRAACS trade name. The label image shows no allergen statement. Thorne's product page marks the formula gluten free, dairy free and soy free, and a listing image repeats all three. The folate, B12, B6 and riboflavin forms are the ones usually sold as "methylated" or "active"; our guide to what "methylated" means on a label covers what the government sources do and do not say about them.
What the format changes
No sweetener, no sugar. A capsule is swallowed whole, so there is nothing to flavor. The Sugar row on this page reads "not listed" for a real reason: the only other ingredients are the capsule and two calcium salts used as fillers. The SmartyPants gummy multi is the opposite case, with 4 g of added sugar in each serving.
Two capsules instead of one tablet. A capsule holds loose powder, which takes more room than a pressed tablet of the same weight. That is one reason the daily amount is split across two pieces. Even so, the minerals that need bulk stay small: 52 mg calcium (4% DV) and 20 mg magnesium (5% DV). The panel lists no iron. The Centrum Adults tablet on this site lists 200 mg calcium, 50 mg magnesium and 18 mg iron in a single tablet. The vitamins go the other way: several B vitamins here are dozens to hundreds of times the Daily Value.
Shell. The shell is hypromellose, a cellulose derivative, not gelatin. That matters to people who avoid animal gelatin. Capsules like this can also be opened, but the label gives no directions for doing so, so we don't suggest it.
Cost. At $1.20 per labeled serving on the date we looked, it cost more than the SmartyPants gummies (about $0.98), Nature Made (about 8 cents) or Centrum (about 6 cents) that same day. The higher price buys the forms and the larger amounts, not more minerals.
What the evidence says about the nutrients
MedlinePlus lists 2.4 mcg a day of vitamin B12 for people 14 and older, and 1.3 to 1.7 mg a day of vitamin B6 for most adults [4][5]. For B6, it notes that large doses can cause difficulty coordinating movement, numbness and sensory changes [5]. This serving's 20 mg is roughly 12 to 15 times the RDA, which is worth raising with a clinician if you also take a B-complex or another multi. The general MedlinePlus rule is to avoid more than 100% of the RDA unless a provider is supervising, and to be especially careful with fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K [3].
Vitamin K helps the body make clotting factors. MedlinePlus also notes that it can change how the blood thinner warfarin works, and that people taking warfarin are asked to keep their vitamin K intake steady from day to day [6]. The 400 mcg here is more than three times the 120 mcg adult male intake figure on that page. Thorne's listing also says that people taking the drug methotrexate should discuss this folate form with a clinician, and that people who are pregnant should consult a practitioner first.
If you take warfarin or any other prescription medicine, ask your pharmacist first: this serving has 400 mcg of vitamin K. Adding it to another multi or B-complex stacks B6 and B12 that are already far above the Daily Value.
Price and where it is sold
On September 30, 2026 the Amazon listing showed $36.00 for 60 capsules, in stock. The offer was sold by a third-party seller (Pattern) and shipped from Amazon. At 30 servings that is $1.20 per two-capsule serving, or 60 cents a capsule. The listing marked the item non-returnable for food-safety reasons, with a refund or replacement if it arrives damaged or defective. A lower subscribe-style price ($32.40) was also shown; we used the one-time price.
Who should look elsewhere
- Anyone who takes warfarin or other prescription medicine, until a pharmacist or clinician has looked at the vitamin K, B6 and folate amounts.
- Anyone who wants iron or meaningful calcium and magnesium from a multi. The Nature Made Multi with Iron tablet lists more of all three.
- People who already take a B-complex, a separate vitamin D, or another multi, because the amounts add up quickly.
- Anyone who dislikes swallowing pills. This is two capsules every day, with no chewable option in this product.
